The Role

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with plenty of variety and the chance to learn new things, then this is the role for you! We are currently recruiting Customer Service Advisors for our service at Lincolnshire County Council contract. Our Customer Service Advisors will provide a helpful and professional contact handling experience to all our customers. Working to individual and team objectives and working to KPI's you will gather and record information from our customers through effective questioning and fact finding to the highest standard.

Due to the nature of the role you must be able to commit to working a range of shifts (Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00 & Saturday 09:00-16:00) and flexibility is required.

The vacancies are within our Children’s Social Care Team, where you will receive calls from both professionals and members of the public who have concerns for the safety and welfare of children. These calls can be of a sensitive and emotive nature, but you will use your professional curiosity and excellent communication skills to gather the relevant information and make a referral through to the screening social work team. Excellent typing and sound IT skills are a must, as you will be required to type and talk to ensure the contact is taken as efficiently as possible.

Experience within Children's Social Care areas would be preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Successful applications will be subject to satisfactory Standard DBS vetting.

About You:

Bring your enthusiasm and passion for the role and we will provide excellent on the job training for you to be a success. If you already have a similar Contact Centre Customer Service background specifically within a Social Care environment, then we want to hear from you. We ask that you have a good level of education, GCSE C or above in English and Maths or proven literacy and numeracy skills as well as competences in Microsoft applications.
