Overview

This role is responsible for effective senior leadership of the new commercial workshop which has been built as part of a £9m redevelopment of the Pembroke Road site. The site encompasses a busy and daily operational waste transfer station, which is accessed by 170 front line waste, street cleansing and horticultural employees.

The role holder will be the qualified Authorised Examiner Designated Manager (AEDM) responsible for leading a team of skilled HGV Mechanics that ensure an in-house fleet of 70+ 3.5-32t vehicles are maintained and serviced in addition to completing public MOTs across the Aylesbury area.

The role is responsible for workshop compliance in regards to both legislative requirements of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the health and safety practices within a high risk operational area.
