CGL Nottingham is a confidential integrated family and young person service, we work with young people up to the age of 18 who are using or are impacted by someone else’s drug and alcohol use.
We also work with families who have been impacted by someone else’s drug and alcohol use.
The service works in a holistic way and works closely with local partners in ensuring a multi-agency approach to supporting our service users across the city.
We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals who want to have a positive impact on the resilience building of young people in our city.
As a PSHE volunteer you will be asked to deliver PSHE sessions in secondary schools around drugs and alcohol. You will be supported with these sessions by the targeted interventions support worker who will ensure you have a suitable package to deliver.
This role will be particularly beneficial for those looking for experience in schools and working with young people.
It is essential that those applying for this post are happy to deliver an educational package to young people. You will be working with young people in Nottingham to build their resilience and improve their knowledge about substance misuse.
