Here at wilko our IT team are looking for a Software Engineer to join them based at our Head office in Worksop.

As our Software Engineer you'll build software and provide operational support and services for all new and existing software whilst ensuring all customer requirements are met and valued is gained.
Here are just some of the things you’ll be involved in
Specify and design software to meet defined requirements by following agreed design standards and principles to ensure the customer requirements are met. You'll develop new and amended software components in order to deliver agreed value to stakeholders. Ensure the identification, creation and application of agreed software development and security standards and processes. Build responsive and elegant, web-based User Interfaces, which work well across diverse devices using modern technologies as well as front end engineering best practices. Understand and leverage your experience with content management systems and commercial sites that include an online component, such as e-commerce, transactional websites, and social websites. You'll communicate with product managers, product owners, agile project managers and other software consultants on multiple projects to understand what their requirements are. Deliver new developments and upgrades that will satisfy the customer needs and improve Wilko company turnover. Work with internal departments so as to ensure that a consistent corporate identity is displayed on all applications, website and to the final customer.
What we need from you
