**About The Department**
PVH Central Planning & Buying is responsible for the selection, range building and product strategy for the UK+ business. In a constantly changing retail environment, we look to build the best assortment for each of our retail, wholesale and concession partners based upon customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.
Working closely with all key retail (merchandising, wholesale, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams), collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!
**About The Role**
Reporting into the Senior Planner the Planner plays a key role in delivering the range strategy for a number of divisions for one of our brands. Focusing on our seasonal ranges they will work closely with the NOS Planner to ensure a cohesive strategy across the wider offer.
Collaborating with their Buying counterparts, they are responsible for creating a strategy, which supports business growth, drives ASP whilst protecting brand image.
+ To manage, implement and maintain the optimal seasonal ranges in accordance with defined business processes and deadlines.
+ Plans and delivers higher ASP, increased productivity rates, improved option efficiencies and synergies across all channels.
+ Supports Senior Planner throughout the budgeting process across Retail and Wholesale.
+ Alongside Buying set division and category plans for the upcoming buy periods and present to retail and wholesale stakeholders.
+ Aligns with both NOS planning team and buying team to ensure full range offer is cohesive and focused.
+ Manages central planning documents ensuring key deadlines are hit for both retail and wholesale central functions.
+ Build ranges that effectively display products to best satisfy customer needs and improves the overall shopping experience
+ Determines sizing strategy based on in depth analysis.
+ Help optimise range performance through micro-range analysis and reporting, working with the trading teams
+ Support in delivering the planned sales and profitability across the divisions by managing and optimising departments through effective planning and working with B&M for in season trading
+ Support the business with seasonal customer priorities analysis and implementation
+ Works very closely with Retail teams to ensure smooth process for new and refit stores.
+ Monthly/Seasonal forecast review and hindsight for Retail and Wholesale
+ Supports in post season analysis and feedback creation.
+ Maintain planning data/ fields within various systems: SAP BW/ HANA, Excel
+ Motivate, lead and develop your assistant planner. Setting the highest standards and ensuring they are motivated and working towards additional responsibility.
+ You'll be working at the Planner level or at a Junior Merchandiser level ready for the next step.
+ You'll have experience in working with Buyers to drive out range plans supported by in-depth analysis.
+ You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
+ You'll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
+ You'll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place.
+ You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace
