The Commercial Finance (CF) team are responsible for all business insight and financial planning and analysis. We play a group role partnering across multiple business units; from core UK distribution to shortbreaks to travel insurance.
Being a data centric business we ensure numbers, commercial knowledge and external factors all take equal weighting in decision making. The team are expected to have a ‘seat at the table’ and support the data with sound commercial reasoning.
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance business partner to partner with the web Product and B2C distribution stakeholders of the UK business. Your mission will be to use your exceptional data modelling skills and commercial acumen to help the business make informed strategic decisions and take the lead on delivering against these. You will be expected to drive and collaborate on ideas to optimise trading performance and profitability, to identify trends and act as a change agent within the business.
You will input into the delivery of B2C budgets and forecasts. You’ll know the products and distribution channels inside out in order to understand how current trading is performing against these targets, and the reasons why.
You will recognise drivers of year on year performance, monitor online user behaviour and quantify risks and opportunities and provide insight to stakeholders regarding those influencing factors.
As a team, we’re on a drive to enable our partners around the business to self serve on their data. You will play a key role in this by understanding the pinch points in current abilities to self serve data in the team’s you partner, and aim to deliver a solution.
