Full-time Seasonal and part-time Permanent Roles Available
We are looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable educator to be our Seasonal Education Officer to help deliver our schools and events programmes at Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre during the busy spring and summer seasons (six month contract, March-August, 5 days/week).
We also have flexible contract opportunities as Sessional Education Officer for outgoing, knowledgeable educators to lead sessions with children. These sessions will usually be based at our education centre near Maidenhead, but could also include leading sessions at our other education centres in Thatcham, Abingdon and Tring on days to suit you.
Successful candidates for both the above roles will have excellent communication skills, experience delivering environmental education activities to Primary-aged children and will have a good knowledge of wildlife and habitats.
This post will be DBS checked at enhanced level. A criminal conviction will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining the position. The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
