Role Objectives

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Campaign Manager to join our ECRM team.

Our job is to engage customers and prospective customers with a range of targeted and personalised campaigns, to drive the cross-sell, upsell and retention of Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products, using Adobe Campaign.

The team’s key day-to-day focus is developing Admiral’s email marketing with the opportunity to test direct mail, SMS and exploring other digital channels. The successful candidate will be experienced in and passionate about email marketing.

There is currently a gap in the team for someone with some technical or development experience to help us get the best out of our email service provider.

This role will be a great opportunity to get involved in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and claim ownership of projects, as well as working as a part of the wider marketing department at Admiral.

You will report to the Head of ECRM and will have ownership of key email, data & creative projects.

Key Success Metrics

  • Devising and implementing new email programmes and optimising performance
  • Developing and managing strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
  • Exploring creative uses of customer data for enhanced automation, personalisation and improved customer experience within our ECRM programmes
  • Successfully owning and managing your projects

Key Tasks

  • Ownership of key email programmes for Admiral
  • Work with agencies to ensure Admiral’s email campaigns adhere to best practice and make full use of current technologies
  • Work with internal stakeholders (such as product managers, compliance, MI) to plan and deliver marketing campaigns against agreed deadlines
  • Monitor agreed plans against actual results and spend, report any deviations and proactively make recommendations to improve performance
  • Co-ordination of email campaigns, including creating workflows in Adobe Campaign, scheduling mailings, requesting and checking data, requesting and writing email copy, getting compliance sign off and scheduling test activity
  • Work with business leads to support acquisition, retention and cross-sell
  • Identify new opportunities and campaigns to support the delivery of business objectives
  • Explore the use of Adobe Campaign to co-ordinate campaigns across digital channels
  • Help coach and develop junior members of the ECRM team

Essential Skills

  • Proactive, enthusiastic and & able to generate new ideas
  • Experience of managing effective working relationships e.g. agencies, account managers, internal stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and of managing campaigns
  • Great time management skills to meet regular tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities and keep calm under pressure
  • Great communicator; both verbal & written
  • Responsible and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A passion for email marketing
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using Adobe Campaign
  • Familiar with HTML, CCS & Javascript
  • Understanding of FCA regulations for financial promotions
