We’re the UK market leader in travel ancillaries; once you have booked a flight and accommodation, we take care of the rest. That includes airport hotels, insurance, airport parking, lounges, foreign currency, car hire, resort transfers and attractions. Almost all of our business is conducted online, either direct through our own website and app or through our network of partners that include the major travel retailers, airlines and tour operators.

We are based in our custom-built Wave and Reef campuses, just 5 minutes from the beach in Hythe, Kent, less than an hour from London.

How you can make a difference

We’re on the lookout for a Content Creator for a 12-month fixed term. You’ll be part of the product content team whose mission is to guarantee an unbeatable customer journey by providing perfect content for everyone, everywhere, every time.

We’re looking for a passionate, creative person who is a stickler for spelling and grammar! As long as you have these fundamental skills, you’re willing to work hard and continuously learn we’ll provide all the training and support you need.

We’re a small, central team of 5 who support the wider business to deliver our products to customers. You’ll be working with product managers, engineers, agile teams and senior stakeholders within the business. This means you need to be a real team player who thrives working closely with others and seeing feedback as a gift is essential.

What’s involved in the role?
  • Content creation & creativity - your day-to-day tasks mean you need to create outstanding content using your creative flair, considering user experience at every touchpoint and making sure it’s right first time. This could be writing copy, overseeing video and animation creation, or making sure the correct imagery is used to evoke emotion.
  • Proofreading & editing - proofing your own and other’s work is a big part of the role. You’ll have to edit for logic, flow and style while adhering to, and developing, the team’s style guide.
  • Content planning & strategy - creating and sharing new ideas to meet the team’s mission, vision and plan is imperative. You’ll be working to strict deadlines, making sure content is delivered according to the calendar.
  • Communication & collaboration - communication is key, whether that be sharing your knowledge and learnings by writing and giving presentations, or providing clear updates to the team on the progress of your work. We love to collaborate and we work with many teams across the business - whether it’s creating new products for commercial, or writing push notifications for the app. As a result, you'll need to be fluent in lots of languages, including business, tech and design.
  • User empathy - our customers are important, so we want to make sure we understand them as best as we can. We do this by interpreting data and reading customer feedback, ensuring they are at the forefront of our minds and trying to tackle their pain points when creating content.
  • Execution - problem-solving is often necessary - you should be able to navigate through issues independently but push back and ask for help when necessary. We want someone proactive too, who is able to run multiple initiatives effectively, to a high standard.
It’s a bonus if you have:
  • Experience and/or a passion for writing
  • Experience working as part of a creative team
  • Understanding of our products
  • Experience working to deadlines
