One of the UK's leading independent insurance brokers specialising in motor trade insurance has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Insurance Sales Executive to join their fun and lively team based in Stockport.

For over 14 years, they have offered insurance broking services to businesses in the automotive industry and successfully forged strong ties with leading insurers throughout the UK.

Due to their continual growth, multiple opportunities have arisen within their office. They are now on the lookout for a Sales Executive with relevant experience to join their vibrant and fast-paced sales team.

About the role:

As their Insurance Sales Executive, you will be predominantly calling potential customers from warm sales leads, taking them from a warm lead to a sale. You will also be required to take inbound calls, leaving a lasting impression with an excellent customer services manner.

You will be:

  • Working under minimal supervision and to be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
  • Taking the customer from a warm lead to a sale and managing them through until the process is complete
  • Work closely with insurance companies and negotiate premiums as well as checking criteria where necessary
  • Setting the scene with a great telephone manner and leaving a lasting impression
  • Taking accurate details from these potential customers and filling out a presentation form
  • Ascertaining exactly what the customer wants and determining how to present this truthfully
  • Taking inbound calls and dealing with them in a professional and precise manner

  • Experience in insurance is highly sought after, though experience in the financial sector is also desirable.
  • Good knowledge of insurance market
