We’re looking for a field-based Account Director to join our talented team in the South. As an Account Director you will develop, inspire and grow lasting partnerships with our largest franchise customers. You will work with a range of stakeholders from Managing Directors, Used Car Managers, Data Analysts, Dealership Management to Marketing Directors. Our mission is to help them achieve great results through our ever-evolving multi-faceted digital marketplace, our unrivalled consumer insight and market intelligence, and our passion for delivering exceptional service.

You will carry out dealership visits, present in workshops, attend board meeting meetings, fix problems and create opportunities. Your resilient and strategic approach will allow you to build trusted partnerships and constructively challenge to achieve long and short-term commercial objectives. Using data and industry insight combined with a consultative approach you will offer the right digital product to drive growth and efficiencies in a customers’ business.

We are looking for someone with following experience:

    \n You will have proven success and full responsibility in retaining and growing revenue in a business to business (B2B) Account Management role \n You will have experience working with large, complex customers and will have worked with digital products or solutions. \n You will love storytelling using data and will be able to demonstrate where you have used data to drive customer decisions. \n You will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand a client’s business needs and spot potential opportunity through the effective application of data and market insight. \n Strong stakeholder management experience. You will have experience working with senior management, board level and multi-stakeholder decision-making units. \n You will be confident using account planning practices to progress your customer relationships to meet both long- and short-term strategic objectives. \n You will have experience delivering engaging presentations and will have the ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment \n\n

    This role plays a huge role in the digital transformation of our customers and the automotive industry; we therefore need you to be passionate about customer success and driving return on investment to our retailers!

    \n

    This is a field-based role covering the South. You’ll spend the majority of your time on the road, with occasional travel to our offices in Kings Cross and Manchester.

    At Auto Trader we’ re proud to be different. We’re trustworthy and transparent, so we have published, non-negotiable rate cards and we don’t pay our salespeople commission. We offer a salary of £50,000 - £60,000, plus a great benefits package that includes either a car allowance or a company car, 25 days holiday, private healthcare, pension and extras that you can personalise to suit your lifestyle.
