Exciting new opportunity to join us at Speedy Head Office, due to current workload we are looking to recruit a temporary 5 month contracted, front of house Receptionist to support the Reception team, dealing with all post room functions and ensuring all Reception areas are covered, handling calls in a professional and effective manner.

Due to current workload we are looking to recruit a temporary 5 month fixed term front of house Receptionist to help support the team at head offices in Haydock.

We are looking for a bright and friendly Receptionist to join us at Head Office. This role is perfect for someone who loves meeting and greeting, has superb admin and organisational skills and genuinely likes being helpful.

Main duties will include, Meeting and greeting visitors, taking calls and messages, directing them to right people, managing and updating calendars as well as visitor parking, checking and sign for parcel deliveries, ordering stock - stationary, business card etc and order lunches/meals from time to time for meetings etc.

Other duties will be dealing with all post room functions – delivering incoming post to all three buildings & dealing with all outgoing mail

Manage all functions of the post room, ensuring all mail is dealt with in a timely manner

Deal with machine maintenance ensuring all equipment is in full working order & report incidents where necessary


  • Previous relevant experience within a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate - proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and Word
  • Positive can-do attitude and approach
  • Excellent organisation and time management
