The Role: As the Senior Customer Operations Tech at LLamasoft, you will be responsible for managing, tracking, and distributing customer and user licenses for LLamasoft's suite of supply chain design products. You will work closely with our clients to assist and troubleshoot software installations and license activations to ensure a good start with their user experience. You may also manage, order, and process licenses for our third-party vendor solutions.

The Customer Operations Technician within Europe and an opportunity to expand our services and work as part of a Global team. The goal for the Tech is to learn, understand and provide exceptional Customer Service to both to our internal and external user base. The responsibilities include, but are not limited, to those below:


  • Reports to Global Customer Operations Manager
  • Assists internal users and external customers with installation, support, and license deployment
  • Creates and maintains user, software, and troubleshooting documentation
  • Provides first tier help desk support in customer installation troubleshooting of product offering
  • Works closely with internal departments on sending out software trial requests
  • Manages, tracks, and issues licenses for new purchases, renewals, partner projects, training, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or related technical experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, Development Operations or similar field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and a "do what it takes to get the job done" attitude
  • Microsoft Office Product Experience
  • Ability to work as a team and work independently
  • Experience with configuring/supporting Windows or Linux software and hardware
  • Strong network troubleshooting background
  • Database analysis skills with experience in Data Management Systems and (Oracle, SAP, SQL)
  • Understanding of principle web technologies [DNS, HTTP(s), etc.]

Desired Additional Skills:

  • Experience in Help Desks and/or Support Centers
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM
  • Understands supply chain fundamentals
