We are in the fortunate position to be able to welcome a new Pharmacist to our innovative and progressive Dorset Healthcare Medicines Management Team. This is an ideal role to develop your clinical skills, improve your counselling skills and develop your mental health knowledge.
We have a clinically rewarding new post available – this is either embedded within the mental health team based in Poole, or working with community hospitals and community medicines optimisation teams in Dorset to provide medicines management to patients’ homes and you will have the opportunity to rotate between these roles. For this position, we will be looking for a keen, motivated Pharmacist willing to learn and with an interest in Mental Health and working with the Dorset Healthcare Medicines Optimisation Team. The successful candidate will be provided with the support of a well-established team, the opportunities to develop and embed their careers and to make a difference to patients’ lives.
Due to the geographical spread of Dorset HealthCare services this role requires the individual to have their own mode of transport.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
