Newcross Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to care for children living with complex care needs in Leominster and the surrounding areas.

About the position

In this role as a Care Assistant, you will ensure that the Newcross values of trust, empathy and expertise underpin everything you do. You will provde life-enhancing care ensuring to respect service users independence, choice and dignity. Tasks may involve helping with basic needs, integration and participation within the local community and any other additional services needed.

As a complex care assistant, you will receive:

Newcross values security and therefore provides a minimum of 20 hours of work guarantee within a permanent contract. Rotas will be organised up to 4 weeks in advance to help you suit your schedule to work. We also offer free specialised training programmes with credits earned while you work.


  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 months previous care experience
  • Certification in practical Moving & Handling course, completed in the last 12 months
  • The desire to work to enrich the lives of the sick or vulnerable
  • Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the HealthForceGo® app
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
