If so, you could be the DBS and Transport Compliance Administrator we need to join our small but busy team in Liverpool.
About the role
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is going through a number of changes designed to improve our services to donors and customers. To deliver this we're committed to making sure we conduct background checks on all of our van drivers and their assistants.
As DBS and Transport Compliance Administrator you'll provide comprehensive administrative support service to the Transport Team in Liverpool. You'll support the team effectively, maintaining compliance requirements and conducting and updating DBS information for all Van Drivers and Assistants that support the BHF.
You'll also make sure that our drivers and assistants have completed DBS checks within specified timescales and that any actions associated with such checks are escalated to the right people.
You'll be really organised with a pro-active attitude to work and excellent attention to detail. With great communication skills, you'll be able to deal with sensitive situations appropriately, you'll also be: * Able to solve problems and make decisions quickly * Resilient when working under pressure * Able to maintain a disciplined approach to tasks * Able to work on own initiative
With previous experience of working in a busy office environment providing administrative support, you'll be IT literate and proficient with MS Office.
Any knowledge or experience of DBS administration and /or compliance databases would also be an advantage.
