We are looking to recruit a skilled and talented Bookkeeper to join our busy and dynamic Head Office. This is a varied and busy role that demands a focused and organised individual who can provide full administration support to a small team. Working across all areas of the business, attention to detail is essential as well as excellent communication skills. Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 accounts & Sage 50 payroll is essential.
Bookkeeper Permanent, Full time Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm Salary: £19,500 - 22,000 (dependant on experience) Location: Redditch - must be a car driver to get to location
Key Duties: • Processing of purchase and sales invoices via Sage 50, matching of purchase invoices to purchase orders and reviewing any discrepancy, credit control, supplier payments, banking, petty cash, bank reconciliation, V.A.T. returns/payments, profit and loss reports • Payroll processing using Sage 50 payroll • General administration support to the management team • Collating and manipulating information from across the branch; producing comprehensive management reports • Manage and create systems to ensure the general administration of the office runs efficiently • Dealing with customers, clients and suppliers • Preparation of documents and reports using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Diary management and coordination of meetings • Supporting the business with wider marketing campaigns and event Key Skills/Experience Required: • Experience in a similar role • Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 accounts & Sage 50 payroll is essential • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Capable of working in a pressured environment, meeting multiple deadlines - Attention to detail and accuracy is essential • Confident communicator both verbally and in written form • Ability to think on your feet with a can-do attitude • Organised with excellent time management
