Our highly successful, purpose-built hospital, deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). These facilities, and high standards of care, make us one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the area. Our staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive, headed by a caring and effective management team. We're close to the city centre and central railway station.

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and conscientious person to join the expanding Endoscopy department within the hospital. This role require a person capable of working within a busy department and alongside a multidisciplinary team, in order to deliver a high level of patient care. . As a Healthcare Support Worker you will:

  • Have the relevant training and support provided
  • Given the opportunity to develop new skills.


The person

To succeed as a Healthcare Support Worker, you will need:

  • Hold a current Healthcare Qualification (Level 2 or above)
  • Previous Endoscopy or Decontamination experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Good timekeeping and flexibility essential
  • Good written & Verbal communication skills essential.
  • Experience of working within a patient centered environment

Salary - Competitive, DOE
