Carlingwark House is a 30 bedded residential care home that supports people living with Dementia, Stroke, Parkinsons, Diabetes and other illnesses. We are looking for someone with a passion for care and to bring new ideas and initiatives to the team. We support residents with varying conditions and people living with Dementia. We require a motivated and passionate individual that puts the residents at the heart of everything they do and provide leadership to the team to ensure the highest standards of care is promoted throughout the service
Reporting to the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of the support worker team, delivering high quality person centred support, ensuring positive outcomes for the people supported including good health and independence.
We are currently recruiting for a part time Senior Support Worker working 25 hours per week on nights.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to motivate people to improve and maintain essential skills and move towards independence and support an ethos of positive risk taking.
With excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage complex situations, you will need to demonstrate an innovative approach to rota management, community engagement, development of natural networks and delivering better outcomes.
The successful candidate will work across multiple sites supporting people with diverse needs. You will also be required to undertake on call responsibility on a rota basis.
