Joining the Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services team in the UK, you will be leading a team that work’s in unison with cruise lines, port and destination representatives to deliver a seamless journey between land and ship

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
There are many ways for you to get involved:

  • Leading a large team based in London and Southampton in the delivery of outstanding turnaround services at all levels
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with our cruise line clients, port authorities, transport suppliers, accommodation suppliers and all other relationships both external and internal.
  • Take full ownership of the turnaround teams’ commercial responsibilities, including P&L ownership, preparing commercial proposals for potential clients, supplier negotiations and contracting
  • Leading the learning & development of the teams, performance management, driving employee engagement and recruitment of both full times, part-time and pier staff
  • Leading all operational requirements to ensure a seamless customer journey, delivering on the industry-leading SLA agreements and service & operational KPI’s
  • Ensuring full operational coverage by your teams and being part of this yourself, this does involve weekend work and emergency phone coverage
  • Ensure the department’s responsibilities for reporting both financial and operational are adhered to in a timely manner and to the highest standards
  • Ensuring industry-leading H&S requirements are implemented and adhered to and all crisis and disruption events are dealt with to the highest standards

  • You are experienced in destination management with strong knowledge and understanding of customer-focused operations, particularly within the cruise industry
  • Commercially perceptive, able to balance product innovation and cost-effectiveness, with experience in managing varied client accounts

  • A proven leader of teams with great communication skills and ability to motivate varied teams working in operational and customers facing roles
