Meyer-Scott have contracts with many Councils in Cambridgeshire, these include Huntingdon District Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridge City Council, Fenland and Cambridgeshire County Council.
We presently have a number of outstanding opportunities with South Cambridgeshire District Council in Cambourne.
We regularly receive long term assignments and they are invariably looking for the following skills. It is always useful if you have worked for a council before but that certainly isn't essential.
Customer Services Agents
Duties may involve:
- Handle calls into the department ensuring all calls, email enquires receive an excellent level of service and rapport is developed at all times. - Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries. - Answering emails. - Processing of invoices for Payment within agreed timeframes. - Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the departmental filing system - both soft and hard copies including the retention and archiving of existing files for information. - Capturing new information as it is received on a daily basis. - Provide and incoming and outgoing mail service. - Undertake typing of documents. - Maintain and order stationary stocks as required. - General administration including photocopying and faxing.
Candidates will be accurate administrators and work in an efficient manner. Good written and verbal communication skills are key as is the ability to work in an accurate manner. Previous experience of administration within a customer service type environment is usually desirable.
