My client, a successful long-haul tour operator based in South Essex is seeking a Marketing Executive to join their expanding Marketing team. This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Marketing team in executing target driven marketing strategies. You will be supporting in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns, ensuring cohesion across all relevant platforms including print, web content, social, third parties, email and more. This position would suit a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Executive who is keen to build on a career in Digital marketing within the travel industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar marketing role and ideally a Marketing qualification, who is keen to take on more responsibility and develop their career in a busy and dynamic environment.
*Support the Senior Marketing Executive in executing the email marketing strategy taking ownership of everything from templates, design and copy. *Work with the Product Team to plan marketing campaigns in advance *Work with the Design Team to produce marketing assets for each campaign i.e. web images, banners ads, email images *Manage the brands presence across all key platforms *Ensure all agreed targets for email are met, these include database growth, lead target, opens, CTR etc. *Work on content strategy for customer journey comms *Support the management of all marketing campaigns from planning to production and reporting *Collaborate on large projects throughout the year such as brochures and video production with the rest of the team *Execute marketing activities with Third Parties and Partners *Work on the social media strategy including paid adverts, influencer marketing and customer engagement *Respond to customer comments, questions and reviews in a timely manner *Where relevant support the planning and management of Ocean Holidays brands events
*A minimum 2 years+ marketing experience *Degree in Marketing, English or Similar (Desirable) *Multi-channel marketing experience *Great communication skills, both verbal and written *Proactive and solutions focused with the ability to problem solve *Strong copywriting skills *Excellent attention to detail and creative flair *Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines *Some experience with B2B marketing
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £18,000 - £24,000 depending on experience.
