To support the work of account managers in delivering outstanding campaigns for our B2B and B2C clients. As Custard continues to grow as the UK’s top marketing agency for the hospitality industry, you’ll assist in building our relationships with key media partners, implementing marketing strategies, managing social media channels and recording tangible outcomes for a number of clients. The graduate marketing executive will contribute ideas and support in the annual PR and marketing plans for each client, researching industry events, keeping on top of the latest trends, learning the processes of agency relationships and marketing and PR strategy along the way.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting account managers on B2B and B2C client accounts with:

• Social media content creation, implementation and analytics

• Press release writing on latest trends and client news

• Compiling media lists and regular media liaison to grasp upcoming opportunities for coverage and building relationships with key press

• Researching industry trends and events and sourcing ideas for features on behalf of clients

• Recording press coverage and producing monthly coverage reports

• Producing monthly activity update reports

• Compiling and distributing weekly shorts – a round-up of our top client news to be sent to national press

• Managing systems and processes for Custard and for clients and assisting in general administration duties

• Managing databases such as MailChimp and Campaign Monitor

Key skills required:

• Creative thinking

• Ability to use initiative

• Working knowledge of social media channels and digital platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)

• Excellent written communication

• Excellent attention to detail

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Basic use of WordPress

• Ability to multi-task, working on multiple accounts and projects daily

• Team player

• Ability to work to deadlines

Desired qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in English, business, marketing, PR, journalism or communications
