Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Since the 19th century, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning. We’re looking for a Regional Estates Manager to join our Scotland region. We have six Regional Technical Cells based in each of our regional bases around the UK and Republic of Ireland. The Regional Technical Cell supports the RNLI through providing rapid and effective first line technical support to the volunteers and staff who carry out and support our front-line lifesaving services.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career as it will offer you the opportunity to deal with all aspects of estates and become familiar with the supporting documentation and processes across the whole building life-cycle. You’ll be able to handle time dependent demands so that we can keep our lifesaving assets on service. You’ll enjoy working on diverse projects with a mix of challenges and able to communicate at all levels. You’ll be happy with travel, occasional nights away and supporting an on call / duty roster.
As a development opportunity, we expect that the role holder will be happy to periodically move between locations including other bases and the RNLI support centre in Poole, with the aim of creating a community of engineering expertise aware of and capable of addressing the RNLIs technical needs now and into the future.
