As a Regional Vice President Sales (RVP) for strategic accounts for Salesforce.org at http://salesforce.org/ , you will lead, manage and support an experienced team of sales representatives being an important stakeholder driving the Strategic Account Program.
This program focuses on nurturing and growing our long term successful relationships with a small number of hand picked existing customers and prospects with global reach and presence of some of the largest NGOs in the world, with huge potential for growth. This will require being visionary, focus, thinking big with long term growth mindset and success for our customers.

Job Profile:
This person will assume leadership of a growing sales organization, to help drive strategic named account relationships and revenue for the region.
As a Sales Leader you will be managing a small team of Strategic Account Executives selling the entire Salesforce Customer Success Platform. We are looking for a proven sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales for our enterprise team. You will formulate and execute a strategy to maximize business growth.
This role works in partnership with cross functional teams; Centre of Excellence, EMEA field sales, Marketing, Industry Solutions, Pre-sales, Customer Success Group, Partner Alliances, Services & HR. Therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is essential.
The candidate will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class employee development. The RVP is fully responsible for developing and managing the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas whilst securing Customer Success building long term strategic relationships.
Aligning to the Strategic Account Program strategy, the Sales Leader defines and implements plans for the assigned Accounts to achieve objectives.
-Set and execute an aggressive customer development strategy to generate 30%+ annual growth in bookings for the region
-Maintain key customer relationships as well as develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer base
-Must collaborate closely with the Global Strategic Account program team in North America
-Conducts weekly forecast meetings. Coaches direct reports re: from strategy to tactics into drive closure.
-Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
-Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
-Reports on sales activity and forecast to the Area Vice President, Sales EMEA.
-Consistently monitors the sales activity of the team, and tracks the results
-Plan and manage at strategic and operational levels. Work with cross-functional teams to build success.
-Support direct reports and individual Account Executives by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.
-Ongoing development of sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps on the salesforce.org at http://salesforce.org/ sales process.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1st line management and leadership experience leading teams in Enterprise segment
- Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing sales organization. (Great coach and mentoring skills)
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- 8+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, MarcTech and/or B2B SW company).
- Experience in building out strategic account programs successfully
- Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and reference-able customers.
- Experience selling into the Nonprofit /Governmental market segments. (`preferred - not mandated)
- C-suite level presence, excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proven success working within a matrix organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions.
- Proven ability to thrive in strategic, executive, team-based environments. Highly collaborative and curious with a strong ability to learn and change often and quickly.
- Experienced and successful in strategic and executive sales environment, executing as an individual contributor as well leading and coaching a team.
- Outstanding leadership qualities, a self-starter attitude with a strong hands on can do mentality.
- Experience in hosting C-Level customers and leveraging the Salesforce Innovation Centre (Executive Briefing Center) to develop strategic relationships
- Ability to welcome, receive and action on feedback for continuous improvement.
- Strong operational and analytical abilities.
- Sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex solutions.
- Proven record of success in global large Enterprise strategic sales environment.
- Solid understanding of business value based selling.
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Must travel across Europe and North America
- Experience selling cloud based enterprise applications is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor degree, Master degree would be advantageous
- Fluency in English, Fluency second language would be advantageous
