**Housing Administration Officer** Akton Recruitment currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Administration Officer to join the Finance team within a Local Authority team in the Leicestershire area. Amongst other duties, the Service is responsible for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG’s), responding to housing standards complaints in the private rented sector, issuing licenses for licensable houses in multiple occupation (HMO’s), processing and updating housing applications, managing the housing register, homelessness prevention and choice based lettings.
You will have significant clerical/office administration experience and a highly organised approach – with excellent time management skills, accuracy in handling figures and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
Excellent IT and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to work both within a team and individually, with a minimum of supervision.
A commitment to customer care is essential.
