With over 2600 students per year from across Defence, Home Office and international partners the Defence EOD Munitions and Search (DEMS) Training Regiment is the world’s leading training provider of Bomb disposal, Counter Terrorist Search and Explosives training.
With two purpose built training sites in Bicester Oxfordshire and Kineton Warwickshire, DEMS is a growing organisation and we are seeking dynamic and ambitious staff to join us.
About the Post:
These post will be BASED AT BICESTER and is part of our logistic/administrative/technical support team. As part of that team you will help to ensure that UK remains in the cutting edge of this specialist field.
This post is advertised at 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will assign, update and transfer equipment using the Joint Asset Management Engineering Solution (JAMES) system.
Assign, update and transfer equipment to maintain the unit's JAMES asset management database.
Supply information to storekeepers to forecast and schedule use, inspection and maintenance of unit's weapons, equipment and vehicles and to record the fact.
Provide unit armourer and technicians details of faults, schedule repairs and record that these have been carried out.
Liaise with project teams and course support to provide planning information.
