Full time SEN Teaching Assistant positions beginning in March, with interviews and trials this week and the first week of March.
Teaching Personnel currently work alongside a 'Good' rated secondary school that are looking to hire SEN Teaching Assistants who will be able to support students in class (ideally core subjects). This can lead to gaining qualifications for HLTA status. You will be directed by the Head of Department and the SENCO, supporting students from year 7 through to year 13. Experience helping children with SEN is not a requirement, however it would greatly help your application.
There will be opportunity to take on added responsibilities such as covering for supply, tuition, intervention and potentially teaching.
* Applicants must have a degree in a core subject.

* The drive to exceed school expectations and targets. * Strong subject knowledge. * SEN experience desired. * Strong communication skills both written and verbally. * Must be able to pass a DBS check. * Proof of career history from the last 6 years. * Able to provide 3 career related references.
The Teaching Assistant positions would suit someone with a recent degree and strong A Levels. You will experience GCSE and A Level teaching so this role would be ideal for anyone looking to progress into teaching in the future. You will support in class but also work with students in small targeted intervention groups.
