Assessment & Review Manager - Student Development

We are currently looking for an Assessment and Review Manager to lead within our Learning Support team. You will support the ALS team to understand the additional learning needs of our students and help to provide the timely, relevant care needed to address potential barriers to learning and enable students to experience success.

As Assessment and Review Manager you will work with both the Head of Student Development and Operations Manager to deliver the strategic vision and operational objectives. With a key focus on Additional Learning Support including Apprenticeships and Industry Placements, you will ensure the ALS provision is implemented in a coherent and effective manner.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and passionate team working to ensure the best experience for our students with additional needs.

Location: Multi Site
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Up to £37,500 per annum

As the successful candidate you will have

  • A relevant degree or industry qualifications
  • Level 7 Diploma in Teaching and Assessing Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia) or equivalent qualification which enables candidates to conduct relevant Psychometric assessments or willing to work towards
  • Experience of effectively line managing staff
  • Knowledge of how to support students with SEND of all levels and needs
  • An ability to pragmatically and diplomatically manage challenging situations
  • The ability to prepare and deliver presentations on a range of topics to audiences at all levels.
  • An ability Demonstrate an understanding and active commitment to equality and diversity.

The College offers a broad range of qualifications with more than 3,000 16 – 18-year-old full-time students studying vocational courses, apprenticeships and Higher Education at our campuses in Milton Keynes.
