An opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, flexible, highly motivated, Medical Secretary Team Leader to join our professional team of Medical Secretaries at Fulwood Hall Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is willing to work 30 hours per week and has the enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high standard of leadership contributing towards care for our patients.
Shift patterns are:
Reporting to the Operations Manager we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional individual to manage the day-to-day operation of our established Medical Secretaries Department at Fulwood Hall hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a healthcare background /experience, previous medical secretarial experience and/or knowledge of medical terminology and a proven managerial record in administration with strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively support staff in gaining optimum results whilst leading by example.
This role is in a demanding and fast paced environment which includes duties such as Rostering, daily input of man hours, keeping HR paperwork up to date including staff PDR's, E-learning and Mandatory Training and Annual Leave. The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out Medical Secretary duties of typing consultant correspondence following patient clinics and theatre lists within specific deadlines, liaising with internal and external customers and resolving queries via telephone and or email in a professional manner. Previous or current medical secretarial experience and knowledge of medical terminology and a full awareness of confidentiality compliance is required.
