A secondary school located in the Trafford area is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) starting with them from the Easter break until the end of the academic year. The school is ideally looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience in supporting within a secondary school setting or similar but this is not essential. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting students in year 7 - 9/10 with intervention. Working with this age range (11 - 14) allows the successful Learning Support Assistant to build a relationship with students prior to embarking upon their GCSEs. The school is therefore looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is confident in these areas and is confident and adaptable in their approach.
Key aspects of the LSA role:
* Full time Learning Support Assistant required: former experience within a school environment ideal * Pay range dependent upon experience and qualification: earn up to �1300 per month * Provide support and intervention to year 7 - 10s in the main with opportunity to support a variety of students as required * Highly academic school with a large cohort of students identified as excelling students and gifted and talented * LSA required for the remainder of the academic year; opportunity to progress onto a school based contract thereafter
The school have advised that they are looking for a Learning Support Assistant on a full time basis who is available 5 days per week starting on Monday 20 th April.
