We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Sourcing and Supply team.
This team sits within UK Operations they manage the material flow through the factory, enabling our packaging and processing areas to produce stock for customer orders. Divided into a number of departments, the function plans all aspects of the manufacturing process, liaising closely with our procurement team, inbound and outbound warehouses, master data teams, line support teams, customer and distributor liaison. It is therefore vital that systems are managed and controlled in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Data Analyst reports to the Digital Transformation and Data Lead. The main responsibility is to contribute to improved decision making by providing a fact based approach and strong analytics to ongoing initiatives and new business opportunities – turning data into valuable information!
You will use solid quantitative problem-solving skills to a wide variety of analytical tasks.
Primarily you'll be working on projects/larger analytical deep dives but also ad-hoc analysis to support business needs.
Skills and experience:
Ability to collect / interpret and analyse data from a number of sources with a strong competency to translate information in an easily understandable way.
Experience using various analytical tools such as Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView.
Rational and analytical thinking through logical problem solving and decision making.
Understanding of supply chain planning parameters, master data and master data integrity & quality
Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment would be helpful, although in no way essential
Exposure to Lean ways of working and methodologies would also be a benefit
