The division of Medical Specialties at UCLH is currently looking to recruit individuals who are interested in gaining valuable working experience in a well-respected Health Care organisation whilst studying for a business and administration apprenticeship.
The Medical Specialties division is responsible for ensuring services are efficiently and effectively run in order to provide an excellent service to our patients. The Division is diverse and covers: Elderly Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacology, Nephrology, Outpatients and Ground Floor reception for the Tower. The Division runs both inpatient and outpatient services for local, regional and national patients.
An apprenticeship is being offered in the following area-
- Outpatient Reception Apprenticeship: Provide important customer service and administrative support to the Trust's main outpatients department for patients and families
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate you have previous work experience, paid or voluntary and have a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-E (or equivalent).
We are looking for individuals who have good written and verbal communication via telephone, face to face and email. You must be a punctual and reliable individual, someone who enjoys working in a team environment but also has the ability to work on their own. An interest in working in a healthcare setting is also essential.
