Key Features of the Role:
The Finance Sales Broker will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, utilising an established database, as well as using your own research methods and connections to find other alternative new business opportunities.
Through cold and warm telephone calling you will ascertain if there are any current or longer-term funding requirements, by completing full fact finds and information gathering.
Building relationships, establishing rapport, managing your own diary and pipeline of prospect business, using open and closed questioning techniques and skills to generate interest, consult on potential options, and to close sales opportunities.
Using SalesLogix CRM to target SME’s across the UK, and once fully trained and with the right knowledge and tools, plus the full support of the business and team, working towards KPI expectations that should see you develop on average 1 brokered opportunity per day.
Finance Sales Broker Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 till 17:30 in an office-based environment.
Positive mental attitude and aptitude to succeed, learn and develop.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Ideally to be successful and to hit the ground running it would be ideal for you to have at least A-Level education and have a financial business to telemarketing background.
Finance Sales Broker utilises transferable skills from many different sales roles, such as consultancy, account management, new business generation, sales advisor.
A fantastic candidate would come from either a financial services or brokerage background where sales and closing are part of the everyday role, coming up with solutions.
Business to business sales background is also ideal but not essential as full training will be given by the company, so you will have all of the tools available to become a success.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential, as is computer proficiency, and having worked with a database / CRM system.

The successful Finance Sales Broker can command a basic salary ranging from £18,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.
An uncapped competitive and rewarding bonus structure is also available on performance based KPI’s.
