We at Bluebird Care Redbridge provide the highest quality care to our customers so that they can remain in the comfort of their own homes and to enable us to do this we are recruiting a Care Coordinator you will be based at our offices in South Woodford.

We are seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to ensure care assistants are appropriately allocated to customers so that care is delivered on time, safely and in line with customers wishes. A supportive and calm manner together with excellent organisational and communication skills are vital for this important role in our company.


Duties Include:

  • Managing the rota to ensure there is sufficient cover to deliver care and support on time, taking into account priorities when there are unexpected emergencies
  • Arranging cover for care assistant sickness, absenteeism or holidays
  • Monitoring the allocation of care assistants to maximise efficiency whilst supporting them to maintain an appropriate work/ life balance
  • Accept, allocate and process new referrals for care and support promptly
  • Distributing weekly staff rotas
  • Talking to customers and their chosen representatives about their allocated hours taking account of different communication needs and levels of understanding
  • Taking part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota
  • Delivery of recruitment requirements, including posting job vacancies, the coordination of interviews and offers
  • Manage the candidate offer process and all related duties, such as referencing, DBS checks and organising training and induction
  • Posting activities onto our website and social media pages

The successful person will be an effective, professional communicator and problem solver, with a good understanding of the needs of people who require care and support at home. Ideally you will have a knowledge of the care industry, previously worked in a Coordinator job role with a strong proactive attitude.
