M62|vincis has recently experienced a period of growth in terms of opportunities and geographies, including the creation of its North America regional hub in early 2019.

Due to recent changes in the organization, there is a need for the creation of a specific Europe hub and a new leadership position to develop and run it.

Job Description for the vacancy:

The Principal Leader - Europe will have overall responsibility for the consulting delivery and expansion for the regional Hub of M62|vincis for the UK and Europe; and may include the Middle East and North Africa in the future.

The role of Principal Leader - Europe would suit a highly experienced business consultant who can deliver consulting and training in many areas relevant to the m62|vincis “you win” brand including:

  • Analysing economic, social, legal and other data, and plans, formulates and directs at strategic level the operation of the business strategy for the company and Value Proposition development
  • Consult with other senior executives to formulate, implement and review company/organisation policy
  • Lead and deliver company pitches, including the preparation of relevant pitch documentation (eg rewrites of RFP responses and Executive Summary)
  • Manages and authorises budget decisions for policy implementation programmes and institutes reporting, auditing and control systems
  • Prepares, or arranges for the preparation of, reports, budgets, forecasts or other information for senior management strategy meetings
  • Responsible for the allocation of resources and the selection of senior staff;
  • Evaluates departmental activities, discusses problems with relevant officials and administrators and formulates departmental policy
  • Negotiate and monitor any contracted-out services in line with m62|vincis business strategy;
  • Studies and acts upon any legislation that may affect m62|vincis business strategy regarding the identification and pitch of relevant m62|vincis products and services, sales closure and consulting delivery
  • Stimulates interest in the earliest stages of the client engagement, from initial meetings and introduction to m62|vincis with a view to expand existing m62|vincis UK clients, including financial services and technology multinationals
  • Directs or undertakes the preparation, publication and dissemination of reports and other information of interest to existing and prospective clients, such as Presentation visualization, including visual cognitive dissonance, passive mnemonic processes, Presentation coaching, including 4D delivery and Cross-industry consulting

The Principal Leader – Europe will also be involved in the development of new opportunities by liaising with the Sales Director.

Skills, Qualification and Experience required:

Business and Management Consulting:

  • Expertise in hard skills including pursuit strategy, messaging, information flow, value proposition, deal coaching, deal leadership, client coverage and the review and edit of formal written responses
  • Management level business consulting to multiple clients
  • Leads Value Proposition development - discovery workshops, Value Proposition identification, information flow, vizualization and final content delivery
  • Account partner level experience and management of stakeholders
  • Broad experience in coaching executives for pitch rehearsal, presentation skills and techniques
  • Project management skills including ability to lead a multi-functional team across both client, internal and third-party stakeholders
  • Experience with sales methodologies (Revenue Storm, 7 Steps, Bluesheet etc), Prince, Agile, DevOps etc)
  • Cross industry consulting experience in sales, a background in technology solution selling
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - proposal and executive summaries

Management and Leadership:

  • Experience in negotiation, pricing strategy, procurement and contracting (leadership legal, technical, finance etc teams)
  • Extensive people management experience - front line to executive level
  • Familiarity with and commitment to leadership in D&I principles and practice
  • Planning and development: of product/services, market surveys
  • Thought leader and exceptional presenter, with experience of presenting to groups (500+)
  • Ability to mentor and coach within the organization


  • Development of new and existing clients - from penetrating whitespace accounts to extending wallet share in existing clients
  • Development of Proposals from ground up, including interlock with information and design studios
  • Pitching to clients - C-level
  • Proven track record in selling multinational services projects (£1m+ to ´£10m, but demonstrated ability to close deals of over £100m)

Training and presentation:

  • Training content development, course delivery and facilitation/coaching from entry-level to senior professional; focusing on courses providing hard skills in messaging, storytelling, sales, consulting, writing and presentation

Culture, Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Ability to work across cultures and/or borders
  • Ability to consult and write content to board-level audience, regulators, government, procurement evaluators
  • Languages that will assist with long-term goals to launch hubs in Australia, Latin America and/or South East Asia will be an advantage;
