Fixed term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.

The Finance Coordinator will provide high level financial support to the Faculty of HSPS and the Faculty Finance Manager. As part of the duties, they will coordinate Finance services within the Faculty Finance office, overseeing the administration of all the Accounts Payable and Receivable activities and the processing of all Faculty payments and associated compliance on the supplementary payroll system (UPS).

The post holder will be responsible for reporting to individual budget holders across the Faculty and to research grant Principal Investigators on a monthly basis and reviewing the grants expenditure and budgets and to communicate with the Faculty Finance Manager daily and Departmental administrative and Academic staff regularly.

The post holder will line manage the small team of Senior Accounts clerks, increasing efficiencies in employee expenses payments, supplier set-up and supplier invoice processing.

The successful candidate will hold a degree level education/level 6 vocational qualifications and Financial/Accounting AAT (Professional Diploma). They will have substantial experience in a senior finance management role in a similar environment.
