KEY REQUIREMENT: Candidates will need commercial experience selling lighting solutions with the ability to account manage and build relationships with clients and lighting manufacturers.

JOB OVERVIEW

Due to the Company’s continued growth and their recent appointment as the Northwest ‘Value Added Partner’ for both Signify UK (Philips Lighting) and Tridonic, we now have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Field Sales Manager who has previously sold bespoke office, commercial or industrial LED lighting solutions with experience in lighting project surveys, quotations, tenders and contracts.

As the LED Lighting Field Sales Manager, you will join a Company that is operating in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and has formed key global relationships with leading organisations to offer its customers holistic low and green energy lighting solutions.

The Company is the Northwest’s specialist Low Energy Lighting Partner and is an opensource supplier utilising industry leading products from global brands. Where there are no off-the-shelf products to solve it ’s customers’ specific problems they design and manufacture their own inventions & technology to build into the solutions including IoT, PoE, Wireless Controls, 48V DC & Solar power!

As the LED Lighting Field Sales Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and exciting Company (recently selected as an InnovateUK Scale-up company) that offers career progression and development in a high profile role within the business.

Your CV should include your employment history, a list of lighting design projects you have significantly contributed to and your salary requirements.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the LED Lighting Field Sales Manager, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in selling office, commercial and/or industrial lighting solutions
  • Proven experience in project surveys, quotations, tenders and contracts
  • Experienced in multiple office & industrial rollouts of LED lighting – both retrofit & newbuild ideally
  • Building relationships with manufacturers and clients
  • Develop the retrofit market by promoting the benefits of LED efficiency
  • Creating quotations for miscellaneous product enquires and customer follow-up
  • Ability to prospect and close deals
  • Experience in lighting customer service, technical advice and support
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Professional work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, time management, negotiation and organisational skills
