Undertake Training Needs Analysis and Solution Activities in accordance with the MoD's Defence System Approach to Training (DSAT) process (comparable to Systematic Approach to Training process or Kolb's learning cycle).
The focus of this role will be on Training Needs Analysis in the following key areas:
Experienced in the following key areas:
Role Scalar production - Identifying tasks, sub tasks and task elements applicable to the role.
Role Performance Statement (Role PS) production - analysing tasks, sub tasks and task elements and establishing the conditions and standards applicable to each task.
DIF Analysis - conduct DIF analysis providing an indication of the priority and standard to be applied to the training.
KSA Analysis - conduct a systematic analysis of performance and/or standard to identify the necessary KSA to conduct the role.
Fidelity Analysis - Consider each task from Role PS analysing the extent to which the training environment should replicate the work place to enable training to be effective.
Environmental Analysis - Consider the implications of location and environment for training.
Methods & Options Analysis - Analyse and present realistic options for Methods and Delivery Media based upon the Fidelity and Environmental Analysis.
