Based outside of the Redditch area
The Accounts and Office Manager will focus on ensuring the organisational function of the office through planning and effective communication. This will be a new role, approximately 30- 37.5 hours per week. This role offers a wide variety of tasks covering all aspects of accounts for the business, office administrative duties and support to the Director. You should have excellent accountancy skills, have previous experience of using Sage and have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or a part qualified accountant, but QBE will be considered also.
Accountancy Skills Required
• Preparation of accounts to trial balance.
• Month end - including reporting.
• VAT returns.
• Purchase and sales ledgers.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Credit control.
• Assisting at year end.
Office Manager Tasks
• Be able to organise and perform administrative skills and develop processes and ideas
• Knowledgeable of basic HR processes
• Computer literacy skills
• Be able to communicate using varying methods and answer incoming calls
• Have proven planning & organisational skills
• Understand, meet and exceed company and clients' expectations.
• Uphold and loyally represent decisions and policies of the company.
• Coordinate and organise all paperwork and processes required
• Ensure a well-documented paper trail of each task
• Complete regular checks to ensure required standards are being upheld.
• Assess customer requirements and act accordingly.
• Assist in the administration and monitoring of centre finances.
• Prepare and plan any aspect with execution.
