We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Social Media & Community Manager to join our Group Marketing function supporting our SMA Infant Nutrition business based at our Gatwick office. A day in the life of a Social Media & Community Manager.
You will set the social media strategy and direction for our Infant Nutrition category. Effectively managing and growing our SMA brands social media communities, across multiple platforms. Developing engaging social campaigns to suport our overall business objectives and social content strategy.
You will also:
Plan, manage and monitor world class, engaging paid social content alongside SMA’s Media Agency Partners. Pro-actively lead the social community strategy and direction, informed by brand objectives and insight. Plan, create and deliver world-class, engaging social content. To drive brand social media excellence/equity and to leverage consumer engagement opportunities online. Understand the changing consumer landscape and champion the social consumer, providing recommendations and thought-leadership to the wider business, particularly Brand owners, Digital and eCommerce. Create, lead and execute new ways to deliver messaging through social media content focused on paid activities and organic content creation. Identify, engage and nurture brand advocates and influencers. Serve as the social voice for our SMA brand, collaborating with brand teams and creative agencies to develop great campaigns in line with our Regulatory and Legal teams. Utilise and collaborate with original, curated, and crowd sourced content providers; deploy content directly and in conjunction with our agency partners. Build an effective network of external content providers (i.e. agency partners), working in conjunction with Digital team. Comment, snap, Instagram and more! Responding and engaging with influencers, consumers and fans, working with Careline Support and internal stakeholders to execute. Support the proactive management of observed emerging issues, working with Corporate Communications and Careline Support team to drive, shape and protect our brand and Nestlé’s reputation. Measure and track performance of all content. Use relevant social data and reporting to consistently optimise on an on-going basis, providing insight to relevant stakeholders at every opportunity.

A true social media guru! Ideating constantly and pushing our brands to innovate and change the way we behave on Social Media whilst understanding the complex environment that our SMA brand operates in. You will have:
Proven experience in paid social media activity and be able to develop and lead campaigns in conjunction with agency partners. Experience of managing social communities for brands working across a wide range of social media platforms. A passion about creating engaging content and working collaboratively with our in house content creation studio where needed. Familiarity with trending content and how your brand can be involved whilst maintaining relevance. A pro-active, enthusiastic approach as well as excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with fast-moving deadlines. A great customer service mentality, stakeholder management. Influence with impact in cross-functional / matrix structures. An expert in using multiple social media management tools and software.
