Electrical Project Engineer- Building Services

A well-established dynamic organisation has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual, with a background in building services and ideally a critical system environment.

About the role:
  • The Electrical Project Engineer will develop the building services design from client specifications on a variety of critical infrastructure projects, valued £2-10 million
  • Cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new projects and their components
  • Work alongside the design team taking the schemes through to construction and commissioning
  • Attend meetings with clients and third parties
  • Creation of technical documentation and reports, such as RAMS
What you will need:
  • You will have held a similar role for a minimum of 3 years with a recognised electrical contractor
  • Have a working knowledge of the most up-to-date guidelines, standards and regulations relating to Electrical building services, ideally 2391 and 18th edition
  • Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience of producing your own programs and cost plans from scratch
  • Experience in a critical system environment such as data centres
  • Authorised Person Low Voltage certification is preferred
  • Ideally be based in the North East of England and be flexible to travel nationally
