HR Information Services (HRIS) Reporting Professional

Would you like to utilise your advanced Excel skills in a new Data and Analytics team? We currently have a vacancy for a HRIS Reporting Professional at our site in either Preston.

As a HRIS Reporting Professional, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and distribution of HR Reports, through the end to end processing of work tickets as well as supporting the production of monthly reporting services to the business.

You will proactively seek the resolution of queries relating to a range of key HR Information Services including System Administration and be responsible for managing a high volume of work to agreed service level specifications whilst seeking continuous improvement of business processes.

This role is part of the newly formed Data and Analytics Hub within the Performance and Customer Engagement team, and therefore there is ample opportunity to grow your role and career within this new and expanding area.

Your main responsibilities as a HRIS Reporting Professional will involve:

Constructing and maintaining intuitive reports and dashboards to allow users in the business to accurately visualise and interpret data in the HR System (SuccessFactors) allowing appropriate business decisions to be made

Testing existing reports following any enhancements in system functionality (e.g. SuccessFactors quarterly releases) to ensure that all areas work as expected, thus providing users with continuous access to HR data

Maintaining reports pertaining to bulk uploads, ensuring that the team ultimately responsible for these can continue to retrieve relevant data from the system after any system enhancements have been applied

Issuing of invitations to participate in the monthly Customer Satisfaction surveys and to collate and present results from these

Reviewing and responding to customer queries to help the customer develop their business requirements

Achieving individual and team quantity and quality performance measures

Providing training and support to other team members for your area of expertise to increase knowledge levels and help create a multi-skilled team

Creating and improving business processes within the HR Information Services team

Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all customer groups, including External Businesses, HR groups, Stakeholders and Internal colleagues

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel at an advanced level

Understanding of relational databases

Experience of data reporting and visualisation

Desirable:

SFx (SuccessFactors eXpert) Accreditation – Foundation, Reporting Tools & Analytics

Familiarity and experience of working with relational databases

Knowledge and understanding of VBA and SQL

Experience of Process Improvement

Experience of training others

Salary: £21,000+
