Pastoral Support WorkerThis is a brand new role for the school and we are seeking to recruit a team of 3 enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Support Workers. You will join our existing Inclusion and Safeguarding team from September 2020. You will provide a range of supportive interventions to the Students of Sunbury Manor School, with a focus on supporting learning by encouraging positive behaviour, good attendance and building resilience. On a day to day basis you will work closely with and support the work of Heads and Deputy Heads of Year and the Safeguarding & Inclusion Team. On a rota basis You will supervise the Internal Exclusion Unit when students have a period of internal exclusion, helping them to reflect on the consequences of their behaviour on themselves and others. Overall, you will work with Students, Families, Staff and any appropriate agencies to promote and maintain the safety and wellbeing of students within the school.Working 36 hours per week, over 5 days on a rolling 3-week roster working either 07.30 -15.20hrs, 08.00 - 15.50hrs and 08.30 - 16.20hrs Term Time plus INSETS.
