Loans Pricing Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Loans Pricing Manager to join Admiral Financial Services, at an exciting time of growth and transition for the business.

We are looking for a candidate with pricing experience in unsecured lending to head up our pricing team, reporting to the Head of Credit Risk and Pricing. The role is very much hands-on and involves day-to-day management of our pricing processes, developing and enacting the strategic direction of the business, and exploring new techniques and approaches. This opportunity will appeal to someone who is looking to make a big impact within a fast-growing business, utilising new technologies and processes, and being in the thick of the action.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing our BAU pricing structures and strategies, responding to changing customer profiles and market/competitor activity to deliver on our financial plans
  • Building new models and infrastructure to support a mixture of representative and real-rate loan pricing capabilities
  • Continually optimising and enhancing AFSL’s pricing strategy across a range of products and distribution channels
  • Maximising our use of available data and seeking to tap into new sources of information
  • Managing and development of colleagues in the Pricing team
  • Communicating results and analysis to Heads of/CFO/CEO, and Credit & Product Committees

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in a pricing function
  • Experience of working with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar data analysis tools
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience of pricing models and techniques in a lending business
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams and deliverables whilst ensuring BAU business targets are met
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to present complex subject matter in a concise, effective manner
  • A degree in a numerate subject is an advantage, but is not essential
