After a hugely successful 2019, which saw the opening of a second site in the North East, The Green Energy Advice Bureau are now planning for further growth in 2020.

We offer a competitive salary (Negotiable depending on experience) with uncapped bonus!

You will be responsible for revenue and customer target based on the number of Field Sales Executives reporting directly to you. Assisting the team manager (TM) with the progression of new and existing business opportunities. If the TM is absent from the team due to other commitments, you will be responsible for driving the Field Sales Executive’s performance.

Working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, you will be predominantly based in our national HQ in Sunderland. Our team enjoy working in a relaxed atmosphere without being tied to their desks, they can roam the modern offices while working hard and having fun!

With exciting plans in place for 2020, we are now looking for an experienced Field Sales Closer to join us, grow with us and develop their careers.

What we want:

·Provable history in a Business Development, full 360 Energy Consultant or Closer position within the energy sector

·Ability to create urgency and proven ability to close high value sales

·A thorough understanding of corporate energy terminology (kVA, Half-Hourly, Pass Through Contract, Deemed Rates, Advanced Purchasing, Tenders)

·The ability to manage, monitor and grow others, understanding the skills and capabilities of your Lead Generators and working with the training team to develop them


·Positive attitude

·Great listening, interpersonal and relationship-building skill are imperative to the role

·The ability to communicate effectively at all levels

What you will be doing:

·Reporting directly into the Operations Manager

·Present unique solutions which save our customers time and money (relevant to customers bespoke requirements Pass Through etc.)

·Develop trusted relationships with new and existing customers

·To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue target and KPIs

·To adhere to the sales compliance rules at all times - all sales are generated in line with our quality standards

·To ensure the target rejection/losses rate is not exceeded and protect live rate/error rate

·Identify sales opportunities through thorough questioning. Maintain and manage excellent relationships with suppliers to optimise price competitiveness and maximise revenue.
