As a leading care provider we have a number of Support Worker opportunities in the Winsford area, working for a Company who truly values their staff to improve the lives of our clients.

The Support Worker role is integral to achieve this aim, with lots of opportunities for career progression and professional development for the right candidates who share the same vision and values as Starcare.

What you will be doing…

You’ll be working with a warm, friendly team based in head office to provide care in the local area of Chester. Joining Starcare you will not just be joining a Care Company; it’s a family who supports clients and staff. You will be involved in a variety of care duties involving:

  • Personal and intimate care supporting clients independently in their home;
  • Monitoring blood sugars, medication management;
  • Meal preparations and management of specialist dietary requirements;
  • Domestic duties;
  • Continence care;
  • Dementia care;
  • Shopping.

About you …

We are looking for warm, charismatic and friendly individuals who are seeking to make a difference to our clients lives. A caring individual who is passionately committed to improving client care.

Ideally, you’ll be able to drive and have access to a car. You’ll be committed to providing support across the Chester area, covering Blacon, Lache, Handbridge, City Centre, Vicars Cross, and Ellesmere Port.

Whilst the majority of clients require female Support Workers, which is classed as a genuine occupational requirement under schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, we do have a number of opportunities for male support workers to come and join the Team.

Previous experience in a care setting is preferable, but not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.

Hours available…

  • 7am – 2pm
  • 7am – 6:30pm
  • 12pm - 11.15pm.
  • 3:30pm – 6:30pm
  • 3:30pm – 11:15pm
  • 6:30pm -11:15pm
