This role is based remotely in the UK. Some UK and European travel may be expected in the future.


* Develop, manage and execute an integrated communications and social media strategy and content plan to support our company goals
* Manage the development of a strategic social media plan to drive increased performance through targeted social media channels
* Develop and manage social media content plan and calendar; working closely with studio, comms and PR team, develop highly impactful and visual digital campaigns
* Support the development of content for corporate campaigns, news site and other digital content needs
* Implement new social media management tooling and processes
* Work collaboratively with key marketing stakeholders across regions
* Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand business and IT trends, issues and major priorities for Westcon-Comstor's customers and vendors
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and executives to identify opportunities and develop thought leadership and insight content
* Advise and support social media strategy and content for vendor marketing campaigns
* Define KPIs and manage social media reporting for company social media
* Curate and report on relevant industry and competitive social media activity and themes to shape strategy
* Coach and train colleagues to develop social media skills, supporting the development of training content as required
* Manage and implement social media policies and governance
* Manage relevant external agencies as required
* Source relevant external agencies as required (e.g. for paid media)
* Manage junior team members as required


* Excellent knowledge and experience in managing B2B social media channels, social listening projects, social media management tools and social media best practices
* Excellent social media and content planning skills
* Experience in building and executing strategic social media and content plans
* Experience in content marketing
* Excellent copywriting, storytelling and editing skills
* Ability to create large scale and compelling value propositions and campaigns
* Team management skills and experience, including agency management
* Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
* A passion for digital marketing and marketing trends
* A keen interest and understanding of B2B technology
* B2B Channel experience preferred
* An analytical mind and natural problem solver with ability to use data to optimise marketing strategies and tactics
* High-level of competency with Excel
* Customer centric, focused on understanding customer needs and improving customer experience
* Strong teamwork, leadership and interpersonal skills, and building/maintaining collaborative relationships
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
* Experience working at an EMEA level in a geographically dispersed team
