Job Role: Registered Manager
Salary: £35,000 + bonus potential
Hours: Full time and part time hours would be considered

Briar Dene Residential Care Home, established over 35 years ago has now moved into their new state-of-the-art care home premises. A stunning contemporary design, located on the picturesque North side of Scarborough. With 3 panoramic sun lounges, landscaped gardens and a tranquil garden room as well as luxury facilities including hair and beauty salons, Briar Dene is not only a wonderful home for our residents but makes it an equally wonderful working environment for our staff.

As Registered Manager, you will be at the heart of the home. Effectively managing all aspects of the day to day running of the care home whilst supervising and supporting the team, ensuring that the company’s values of trust, respect and care are maintained at all times and that each team member ensures person centred care is given to every resident.
You will be a natural leader, personable, caring and friendly with strong business acumen.
Your role will be to promote a caring environment which provides residents with a very high standard of personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and their rights to privacy, independence and choice are met. To supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to resident’s, checking legal requirements are met along with all required compliance.
You will be responsible for generating enquiries from new residents and managing them through from initial enquiry to admission.
As Registered Manager you will also be responsible for understanding and complying with all relevant statutory and legal requirements, including Health and Safety and the Health & Social Care Act to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
The role of Registered Manger is integral to any care home and as such duties will also include, employee recruitment and training, investigation of any complaints, compiling reports and taking any appropriate action as required. You will liaise closely and hold effective relationships with all partners including CQC.
