You may be aware BBC Panorama joined us at the Trust to witness COVID-19 treatment and it impact on patients and staff. We know that COVID- 19’s impact on everyone involved will be long – lasting.

As Chief People Officer you will provide executive leadership in delivering and embedding a strategic workforce vision and framework in line with organisational values. You will be joining a Board with a mix of experience and newer joiners who care passionately about the Trust’s patients and its staff. You will be taking on a well – led, strong and broad Workforce function as well as the Performance & Informatics and Transformation and Innovation functions which are so important to what we do.

Working in partnership with staff and staff representatives you will continuously work to improve the experience of all staff, taking positive action to ensure a fair and inclusive culture for all staff to work within. You will also be a key player in developing system wide work, working through the Coventry and Warwickshire Health and Care Partnership.

You will inspire and lead the delivery of the NHS People Plan ensuring that the organisation is at the forefront of key developments including improving leadership culture, being a Model Employer, addressing skill shortages and supporting a new workforce operating model.

As a driven and influential leader you will have an excellent track record in leadership and operational management at a senior level, and have worked at Executive or Deputy/Director level in a large complex organisation.

You will hold chartered MCIPD status, have experience in addressing challenges faced in a high pressure acute setting and have first class communication skills which will afford you the ability to be able to work in partnership and across boundaries to inspire teams to deliver the best possible care to all of our patients and staff.
